Fistiko Pistachio , started trading pistachio as a first commercial enterprise, processing and presenting bazaar in 2000 by Mert ALTINAY. Established his own pistachio processing plant in 2005. Targeting customer satisfaction and growth, this facility has served the Gaziantep people for many years. Fistiko Pistachio progressed in this way until 2010. And then made this work with a more formal and institutional dimension and to become a brand “Fistiko”.

Whole Pitted Mediterranean style be processed from sound, nature fresh Turkish apricots which have been harvested by hand, washed with pure water, hand pitted, sun dried, graded for size and sorted for general defects. The product shall present a dark color (light brown-brown- dark brown), taste and smell typical of well processed dried apricots.
The scientific name of the Pistachio plant is Pistachia vera, belongs to the family Anacardiaceae is native to the Middle East. Its fruit, during its life on the tree, is manifested in bunches, with a gummy and pitchy husk, with a white reddish colour at maturation.
Graded,hand-sorted and washed figs are manipulated to give them special shape.Each shape has got its own name like protoben.
Seedless grapes are one of the most suitable types for drying purposes. Type of seedless fresh grapes that are sun dried. Sultanas are numbered from type 7 (the darkness colored) to type 11 (lightest colored). Sultanas are differed in 5 types , as type 7, type 8, type 9, type 10, type 11. In addition to color, sultanas are differed by their berry sizes (jumbo, standard, medium, small, extra small) Harvesting starts in august and sun drying continue till end of september.
